OUR COMPANY PROFILE

Lane Archive Technologies Corporation (L.A.T.) traces its origins from two distinctive leaders in Information Management.

1987. Lane Records Management, established as a division of Lane Moving & Storage Inc., pioneered the Information Archiving Industry in the Philippines with its Hard Copy Management and the Media Vault and Data Rotation Service. Since then hundreds of local and multinational companies have availed of its comprehensive document management and retrieval services.

1994. File Managers Inc., another Information Management Company, was also founded in Manila, and operated as a competitor in the market place for the next 9 years, acquiring many customers.

1998. Now managing millions of files, web-based bar-coded technology was introduced by Lane Records Management, allowing customers to view their inventories on-line, over the Internet, 7/24/365.

2002. Recognizing that the demand for this service was growing not only in Metro Manila, but also in the Visayas, the Cebu Operation was established, and has since grown to be the clear market leader.

2003. Lane Moving & Storage Inc. acquired File Managers, Inc., changing its corporate name to Lane Archive Technologies Inc. (L.A.T.). Dedicated to excellence and total customer satisfaction, LAT, remained steadfast in its commitment to continuously upgrade the quality of its services, and introduced many innovations, both in services and technology??¦ Answering the call of many customers requiring professional Information Management of their active in-house documents, ???On-Site??? consultancy was introduced, another first in the Philippines. Complementing our Document Management Business, ???confidential and secure document destruction??? was also added; ensuring that information due for destruction was accomplished in a secure and professional manner.

2005. LAT??™s Quality Management System was given International Recognition by being certified to the Universal Standard ISO 9001, yet another Philippine??™s first in our industry, and clear evidence of our commitment to be ???Customer and Quality Focused???.

2007. Once again, recognizing the demand for Records and Information Management in Mindanao, LAT opened the country??™s third operation in Davao City.

In line with our vision to offer ???Total Information Management Solutions???, Digital Capture (Scanning), and Records and Information Management Consultancy and Training were also added to our list of services.

2008. Another Milestone in our years of existence. LAT has purchased a 19,000 sqm lot and property for its future ???home??? to house nearly 800,000 cartons and allow future growth for new boxes up to 1.2 Million boxes.

2009. Improvement works to upgrade safety, security and other technical features have started with the aim to be the biggest, state-of-the-art Records Center in the Philippines. All offices and boxes from the previous 9 network warehouses are now consolidated into one home.

LIST OF SERVICES

OFF-SITE FILE MANAGEMENT
The Company is engaged in the provision of open-rack storage and management of corporate files and documents. These vital records are bar coded and stored in carton boxes to preserve their original condition while protecting against foreseen and unforeseen damage, caused by both human and forces of nature.

RETRIEVAL
Through the use of the correct bar code number, the location and the retrieval of cartons/files or computer media are immediate. Retrieval services are as follows:
Retrieved by us and picked up by your staff. Accessed on site, prepared before you arrive, and delivered to our air-conditioned viewing room
Delivered/picked-up by our service staff to and from your office, either through our regular or express service

REPORTS
To keep you posted on the movement of your company files/computer media while in our custody, we will generate the following reports regularly:
A monthly transaction report which will reflect the frequency of access to the media or records by your representative(s). This will tell you exactly who, when and what media or records were accessed and the cost of transaction.
A monthly inventory report will be submitted to you which will let you know what media or records are presently stored at our Records Center, including all movement ??“ in and out. Reports can be customized to suit your needs and may be submitted in hard or soft format.

MEDIA VAULTS
For users of computer equipment, it is very important to have a back-up copy at a secure off site location, in case of a disaster. Our purpose-built bank vaults have reinforced walls, steel ceilings and Mosler doors. They are fully air-conditioned, dehumidified and are ideal for storing, back up media such as disks, tapes, films, CD-ROMS and EDP accessories.

STORAGE SYSTEM FOR DRAWING TUBES
Architectural/construction designs, plans and drawings with their daunting physical sizes, pose challenges in archiving, management and handling processes. In addition to cataloging and physical storage, the actual preservation and management of these records can be taxing. LAT can provide a cost effective solution, for the management of these documents.




RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY AND TRAINING
LAT??™s U.K. trained and certified systems Consultants can assist companies in the design and development of a system for records and information management from the front to the back-end (records classification, security level categorization, storage, maintenance and distribution control, retention scheme through to disposal) according to International Standards and/or U.S. mandatory legal requirements.

DIGITAL CAPTURE
This service entails the electronic capture of documents and images by way of scanning. The electronic images are stored in various media including CD, DVD, hard drive, etc. which are then managed by a document management system in a digital environment.

MIND YOUR OWN FILES (MYOF)
MYOF comes in 3 versions to manage, control, monitor and track hard copy documents, and with an option for viewing scanned images. The product can be used by clients to prepare and/or scan index data prior to saving directly onto a disc or their main server. An appointed Records Center can manage records for the entire business operations regardless of logistics/locations of its branches or affiliates making access to information available in a timely manner. It also facilitates cost-savings based on the use of space within the company??™s premises for paper storage, unnecessary duplication of records/documents, and unauthorized access to information.

SECURE DESTRUCTION
This service offers monitored and confidential destruction of records through shredding which includes an authentic certificate of destruction which is given to the client. This ensures that vital records past their retention time are not stored unnecessarily and do not fall into the wrong hands.

POST DATED CHECK (P.D.C.) WAREHOUSING
This is a process that most banks have to deal with on a daily basis. Many types of loans are paid using Post Dated Checks. Each day, thousands of these checks become due, and need to be processed, often times encoding the paid amount in magnetic code on the check. This entire process can be very tedious, time consuming and difficult to manage.

WEB ACCESS
Get the information you need, when you need it, online. Using password protected and encrypted access, view your inventories, make service requests, and monitor the movement of your cartons, all from the convenience of your PC or Laptop, 24/7/365.

ASSET LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT
This type of service relieves companies of the burdensome task of tracking the registration, monitoring and movement of assets within the company or inter-branches. This ensures that the assessment of the asset's life-cycle, assessment of current value and management of their disposal is done in the most economical way. Reports given justify budget allocation for purchases of new assets.

E-ARCHIVING
In compliance with both local and international security standards, many companies face the task of providing business disaster and recovery programs. E-archiving offers a solution, whereby information can be stored remotely, providing real-time back ups whenever needed.

FILE LEVEL MANAGEMENT
Logistics is no longer a problem. This type of service controls, monitors, tracks, and retrieves records/documents on a file level for faster access to information. Files are upon request retrieved, scanned, faxed, emailed or sent via registered mail (for hard copy) to any part of the world. A high security and maximum protection storage area is dedicated to this type of service where access is restricted only to authorized LAT employees strictly bound and committed to the handling of records with utmost care and confidentiality.
